Simple and guaranteed formula for making ketone-free cookies! These cookies are made of only 4 ingredients and can be made within 12 minutes, they are soft, full and filled with chocolate cookies, completely nut-free and flour-free!

Just last week, I shared my favorite healthy cookie for chocolate chip. Made with healthy ingredients, it tastes so good and I think I should leave it there.

However, not a single cookie recipe is the same, and I have to share an updated and simpler cookie recipe!

I hardly changed the cookie recipe for peanut butter but I did some major exchanges. I made it nut-free (without using peanut butter) and also tried some new sweeteners (monk fruit, the main sweetener!). I also filled them with healthy chocolate chips!

In terms of taste, these cookies are sweet, butter and rich in flavors, which is surprising because they do not contain butter or flour!

As far as the texture is concerned, they are soft, chewy and almost sticky in the middle!

To make these chocolate cakes without flour, you only need four ingredients –

Smooth tahini
The choice of granular sweeteners
1 large egg or a tested alternative
Chocolate chips

Tahini and substitutes
To keep these flour-free coils free from nuts and allergens, I chose to use sesame butter. I like to use sesame sauce because it tastes so mild and produces a rich and delicious flavor from cookies.

You can still use sunflower seed butter or wow butter to keep these cookies free from nuts.

If you are not allergic to nuts, you can use almond butter and cashew butter, and you are still sure that these cookies are old.

As usual, peanut butter can be used, but if you strictly follow the paleo system, it will not be applied anymore.

The best sugar-free dessert
Flour-free cookies are very tolerant and any sugar-free sweetener can be used.

However, not all sugar substitutes have the same taste, and some alternatives have infinitely good flavors.

I prefer to use sweeteners or fruit monk fruit, both of which have the same consistency as white sugar and have a very pleasant aftertaste.

If you can tolerate sucralose, you can also use Splenda for baking. I tried this method with my dad, who uses the product quite often, and had no complaints about texture or overall flavor.

Any other sweeteners that can be measured with sugar can be used, but make sure you like the flavor.

How to make these eggless cakes
To make this flour-free biscuit free of eggs, replace the whole egg with dried chia powder, knowing that this differs from chia seed eggs because we don’t need to add any liquid!

Best chocolate chips for cookies
There are several ketone certified chocolate bars and chip bars that work well with these cookies.

I have used sweet chocolate chips stevia, but you can also use splenda chocolate chips.

If you are not following a ketogenic diet, dairy-free chocolate chips and small chocolate chips work well.

Tips and tricks for the best KETO chocolate cookies
When setting cookie dough, don’t beat! Excessive mixing of cookie dough usually spreads cookies too much during baking, which we don’t want to happen!

To ensure your cookies are soft and enjoyable, do not drink them. Check them out in about 12 minutes, and if they start slowly turning brown, that’s all. This is because cookies become more difficult after cooling.

If you want to fill cookies with chocolate bars and spread them evenly, mix half of the chocolate chips in the mixture and leave the other half on top. Also, consider removing cookies from the oven for 8 minutes before adding some cookies on top.

These cookies without chocolate at room temperature will be kept in closed containers. It will stay fresh for up to 5 days.

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips of choice
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 3/4 cup granulated sweetener of choice
  • 34 tbsp ground chia seeds * See notes


  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the tray for 20 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Using your hands, form 12 small balls of cookie dough. Place each ball on the lined tray and press each one into a thick cookie shape. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges just start to brown.
  • Preheat the oven to 175C/350F. Line a large tray or cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine your tahini, granulated sweetener, egg or ground chia seeds and mix until combined. Fold in your chocolate chips.


Start with 3 tablespoons and if the batter is too thin, add an extra tablespoon. You can also replace this with 1 egg.

Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies (Vegan, Paleo) can keep at room temperature, for up to 5 days. They can keep refrigerated for up to 2 months and freezer friendly, for up to 6 months.
